Douglas Stoodt, Esq.

Douglas Stoodt has been a practicing attorney since 1974. He received his Bachelors Degree from Ohio State University and his Juris Doctorate degree from Western State College of Law. Since 1979, his law practice has been limited to Family Law. He has handled over 1,000 family law cases from simple matters to complex cases and has mediated settlement of hundreds of dissolution cases. Mr. Stoodt regularly serves as Settlement Conference Judge Pro Tem of the San Diego Superior Court, Family Law Department and is an active participant in Alternative Dispute Resolution in the North County Branch of the Superior Court and is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, Family Law section.

Barbara Weiser was admitted to the California Bar in December 1988. She has been practicing family law in San Diego County since 1995.  She has handled numerous family cases from the initial client interview through lengthy contested trials. She has extensive experience representing military members. Ms. Weiser also represents clients in adoption and guardianship cases. She received her undergraduate degree from California State University Los Angles and attended Whittier Law School. She is actively involved in training for and participating in marathons through the San Diego/Hawaii chapter of Team in Training, the fundraising arm of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Debra Manduley-Holmes has been a law clerk then paralegal assistant for our office since May, 2005. She graduated from California Western Law School in January, 2006. She has a bachelor of science degree in computer science and mathematics from Califormia State University Dominguez Hills where she graduated magna cum laude in 1988.  On June 1, 2007, Debbie was admitted to the California Bar as a new Attorney at Law. She is a independent contract attorney focusing on financial analysis of the cases we handle.

Becky Murine has been our office manager and secretarial assistant since 1993. She is instrumental in the handling of office procedures and client relations. She worked as an instructional aid for the Poway Unified School District before working for our office.
